Modern Art (2001–Current)The impetus for this work comes from design experience and my daily hikes through nature. It is a dialogue between the dimensions of texture and the process of construction. I associate myself with humble unconventional materials like those employed in building, plaster, paint, sand, asphaltum, paper, marble dust upon board and canvas.
Today more than ever we are searching for a calm oasis away for the hectic world we live in. For this reason my pallet is monochrome.I strive to create a new kind of object that is both
painterly and sculptural.
All is but a record of observation, reaction, inspiration and emotion which hopefully will allow you to experience your own thoughts of color, structure, cracks and texture.
"Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life" — Pablo Picasso
